On The Road To The National World War II Museum

Today's adventure took us out of the French Quarter and back in time.  We decided to take the 25 minute walk to the National World War II Museum so we could take in more sights and sounds of The Crescent City along the way!

A visit to the National World War II Museum is quite a powerful experience. This collection of artifacts, interactive exhibits and moving personal accounts explains the war in a way that informs, educates and inspires.

Because my dad, Master Sergeant Jack Varon is retired Air Force and Air National Guard, both Sara and I took a special interest in the Boeing Center exhibit!

Tomorrow, more music, food and surprises!
