Our first day in Maine brought quite the change of scenery.  Lush forests filled with tall pines

A Bostonian told us, "The beauty of New England is its variety - you drive 45 minutes and the scenery is completely different!"

Hard to believe, with all the traveling I've done, I've never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast until now! 

So many states, so little time! We decided to make Hartford Connecticut a day stop, spending a few hours exploring the house that Mark Twain called home from 1874 to 1891.

There's a certain vibe about New York City. The energy surrounds you, encompasses you and welcomes you!
